Alberto Zecchini, born in 1970, architect since 1996, has been working with Pierluigi Nicolin since his university days, first at his studion and then in teaching at the Design Faculty of the Politecnico di Milano. His freelance work, since 1998, was initially in the residential sector, with a consistent, rigorous empirical approach. He discreetly put the emphasis on projects with a low visual impact, a hidden experience for daily living. Zecchini has carried out personal research into lighting; designed indoor lamps with Flos, Danese and Fontana Arte. His approach aims to use various spaces to their full potential, a qualitative, visual practice which forms the identity.
