The low elevation of the design of the Bishop Bed is both attractive and functional. Its oversized frame for the footboard and headboard provides for small storage and a bench area. It featues recessed burl veneer that creates a warm contrast to an overall simple design. The bedframe is consrtucted of poplar core plywoods with wenge veneer in dark expresso finish. The headboard and footboard are preassembled.

This contemporary bed is shipped with side rails for assembly using stainless bolt system. The side rails have integrated adjustable rail to accommodate various mattress heights. It has matching bedside console and can be ordered separately.

About the Designer
Designer/builder James Kessler has an extensive background in work and educational experience which includes studying at Architectural design schools such as Clemson University and Santa Monica College along with working in high-end cabinet and furniture operations in Los Angeles and Columbia, SC respectively.
