Foscarini Caboche Grande Floor Lamp - composed by spheres of polymetylmetacrylate, transparent (trasparente) or gold yellow (giallo oro). A screen in white satinized blown glass guarantees maximum diffusion of light and prevents glare. A solid base is provided by the original design of the stem.

When two excellent designers work together on a project, one of two things happens: a) they but heads like rams and generally fail to get along and furthermore fail to produce anything OR b) they put their heads together and succeed brilliantly. Such is the case with the splendorous Caboche Lamp, designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto for Foscarini. The Caboche Collection includes a suspension lamp, table lamp, floor lamp, and ceiling-mounted lamp.

The intricate crystal balls that make up Caboche are individual polymetylmetacrylate spheres. The crystal balls are available in clear or gold, they shine like enchanted objects from fairy tales: little pieces of moonbeam or sunshine. - Alicita Rodriguez

This contemporary floor lamp focuses great attention on creativity and taste of innovation, out of the ordinary, and with highest care for details both of design and of functionality.

About the Designers
Born in Orviedo (Spain), Patricia Urquiola studied in Madrid and graduated at Politecnico di Milano with Achille Castiglioni as a tutor. From 1990 to 2000 she collaborated with De Padova and Lissoni Associati. In 2001 she started her own design studio, through which he has collaborated with many brands at an international level.

Eliana Gerotto was born in Venice. She started her career in Milan as a graphic designer. She got her degree in Communication Techniques at Fondazione Davide Campari in Milan. She worked in various fields as graphic, industrial designer, set curator and interior decorator.
