Mite Floor Lamp by Foscarini, design by Marc Sadler - Modern floor lamp in fiberglass fabric diffuser with yellow Kevlar (Kevlar is a DuPont registered trademark) or black carbon thread shade. It features brushed stainless steel frame and it comes with a dimmer. The Mite lamp is the result of Foscarini's research in the field of materials and of its ongoing cooperation with Marc Sadler, the master of contemporary design - it is the new shape of an unmistakably unique mix between light and matter.

About the Designers
Marc Sadler was born in Innsbruck on December 4, 1946. He is a French citizen and currently lives in Milan. He graduated from the E.N.S.A.D. in Paris in 1968 and he has collaborated with a number of french firms. He has been involved with the sport sector in particular, where the research and development of new materials and production processes is particularly consolidated, and in 1971 he began to work in Italy designing plastic ski boots.

A designer, he has worked a long time in the sports sector, where he experimented with new materials and innovative production processes. He also worked successfully in furnishing and consumer products. In 2001 he has won Compasso D'Oro with Mite and Tite of Foscarini.
