Founded in 1976 in the bustling north eastern corner of Italy by a newcomer to the furniture business, Eugenio Perazza, Magis is today a giant international design laboratory that constantly puts itself to the test, seeking technological sophistication and employing a highly diversified workforce.

About the Designer
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec were born in Quimper, respectively in 1971 and 1976. They studied at the �cole Nationale des Arts D�coratifs in Paris and at the �cole des Beaux-Arts in Cergy-Pontoise.
Ronan began independent design work immediately after completing his studies, while his brother, who was still in school, assisted him. Since 1999 both brothers have worked together as joint partners in their own design firm. Their work ranges from small utilitarian objects to architectural projects. In addition to the design of domestic and office furniture, vases, porcelain dishware, jewellery and diverse home accessories, a primary focus of their work is the design and organization of interior space.
Today, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec work together with numerous manufacturers such as Vitra, Cappellini, Issey Miyake, Magis, Ligne Roset, Habitat and the Kr�o Gallery. At the same time, they realize some architecture projects, like the Floating House, an artist Studio under construction, commissioned by Le centre d'Art de Chatou.
