When I was 14 I loved architecture, but there were too many architects. That’s when I discovered industrial design, quite a newborn thing in Spain with very few professionals, and even fewer that could make a living out of it. But it was always clear to me because I conceived it as a very creative alternative profession, and I took the chance. I currently believe that we are the artisans of the 21st century.
A house is full of objects to go with it, and a lamp has to be like a tree in the forest, nothing strident. It needs to be capable on staying in your life silently, constantly surprising you with the way it works.
